• Account information: name, email address, and password when you register.
• Order information: name, email, shipping address, and payment method details (processed by Stripe — we never store raw card numbers).
• Fundraiser data: campaign title, goals, seller information, and participant details provided during onboarding.
• Usage data: pages visited, browser type, IP address, and referring URLs collected automatically via server logs.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Process and fulfill orders, including sending order confirmation and shipping notifications.
• Operate and improve the PopKind platform.
• Send transactional emails related to your account (new orders, campaign updates).
• Provide seller dashboards with fundraising analytics.
• Detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Information Sharing

We share your information only with:

• Stripe: for payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of your payment data. See stripe.com/privacy.
• Supabase: our database and authentication provider. Data is hosted on Supabase's infrastructure.
• Resend: our transactional email provider, used solely to deliver order confirmations and notifications.
• Law enforcement or regulators: when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

4. Cookies & Tracking

PopKind uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain authentication sessions (via Supabase Auth) and to remember your shopping cart. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect your ability to use certain features such as logging in.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Order records are retained for a minimum of 7 years for accounting and legal compliance purposes.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction: request correction of inaccurate data.
• Deletion: request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Opt-out: unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the link in any email or by contacting us.

7. Children's Privacy

PopKind is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, Supabase Row-Level Security (RLS), and Stripe's PCI-compliant payment infrastructure. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email and post the updated policy on this page with a revised date. Continued use of PopKind after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
